2026 UFL Projected Depth Charts
The UFL has gone through its training camp and final roster cuts. While some players will be resigned over the next couple of weeks, we are starting to get an idea of how each team will shape up. Knowing the projected depth chart for every team is important, especially when it comes to playing UFL fantasy football at AltFantasy. Nothing has been made official by the teams. However, let’s take a look at the 2026 UFL Projected Depth Charts heading into Week 1. Keep in mind, these are not official and are all based on my opinion on who will take the starting jobs.

St. Louis Battlehawks
The Battlehawks come into the season with a new coaching staff from last year. After two years of Anthony Becht, St. Louis legend Ricky Prohl takes over as the head coach. Let’s take a look at their projected depth chart for their offensive skill positions.
QB1 – Brandon Silvers
QB2 – Harrison Frost
Unless Michael Pratt all of a sudden ends up on the team (which has been rumors that he’ll be back), I think Brandon Silvers will take the Day 1 reps for the St. Louis Battlehawks. He’s had experience at the professional level with stops in The Spring League, the Seattle SeaDragons, Houston Roughnecks, and as the backup to A.J. McCarron and Manny Wilkins. His highlight so far was in 2023 with the Roughnecks, where he threw for 1,551 yards and 13 touchdowns in eight games.
RB1 – Jarveon Howard
RB2 – Rahjai Harris
RB3 – Kylin James
For running backs, it should be no surprise that the Battlehawks will go with their returning running back starter, Jarveon Howard. Howard is a bowling ball on the field and should get the majority of the carries out of the backfield.
WR1 – Jahcour Pearson
WR2 – Hakeem Butler
WR3 – Frank Darby
WR4 – Blake Jackson
WR5 – Gary Jennings Jr.
All of these receivers will be involved in the receiving game. However, I think Pearson will score the most fantasy football points for your teams on AltFantasy. Therefore, I’ve ranked him number one. He should be a reception machine as well as pile up the yards. He had the most success back in 2023 on the Seattle Seadragons with 60 receptions and 670 yards.
Hakeem Butler, on the other hand, may not dominate in catches, but he’s a huge redzone target who’s really good at 50-50 jump balls. He’ll look to get back to his 2023 form, where he had 51 catches for 599 yards and eight touchdowns.
Frank Darby, Blake Jackson, and Gary Jennings Jr. have all had success in the UFL and should provide great receiving options for Brandon Silvers.
TE1 – Tyler Neville
As of right now, the Battlehawks only have one tight end, Tyler Neville. His final collegiate season was in 2024 with Virginia, where he had 37 catches for 394 yards and two touchdowns.
Birmingham Stallions
Speaking of the St. Louis Battlehawks, the Birmingham Stallions will be coached by the Battlehawks former quarterback, A.J. McCarron. They are a team loaded with talent as long as the coaching staff can put them in good positions to succeed. Let’s see how McCarron’s projected depth chart will shake out this UFL season.
QB1 – Matt Corral
QB2 – Taylor Elgersma
QB3 – Michael Hiers
The former Ole Miss Rebel, Matt Corral, should return as the starting quarterback for the Stallions. He played six games for them in 2024, starting three of them. He was in a timeshare, but still managed 494 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 104 rushing yards. In 2025, he only played three games before exiting the season with an injury. Still, in those three games, he threw for 648 yards and four touchdowns and ran for an additional 91. He’s got plenty of experience and will be ready to lead this team.
RB1 – Anthony McFardland Jr.
RB2 – Tyrion Davis-Price
RB3 – Snoop Conner
This team is loaded at running back. However, they should be led by Anthony McFardland. McFarland has played in 17 NFL regular-season games. He’s played the last two years for the San Antonio Brahmas, and often looked like the best running back in the league. He can damage teams on the ground and in the receiving game.
WR1 – Deon Cain
WR2 – Laviska Shenault Jr.
WR3 – Marlon Williams
WR4 – Daewood Davis
This team is also loaded at wide receiver as well. My guess is these guys will take turns as the leading receiver. However, for WR1, and the one I think will have the most fantasy football points on their team, is Deon Cain. It’s his third year with the team. Last year was his best year, when he finished with 514 yards and six touchdowns.
Laviska Shenault Jr. makes his spring football debut after multiple years in the NFL. In 2021, he had 63 receptions and 619 yards for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He brings a lot of experience and should be playing with a chip on his shoulder.
Marlon Williams is another returning to the Stallions for another year. His stats have been slightly up and down the past two years. However, he’s still a very experienced receiver. Finally, at WR4, I’ve got Daewood Davis. Davis was previously with the Memphis Showboats but had a season-ending injury last year. All of these guys should provide great targets for Matt Corral.
TE1 – Jordan Thomas
TE2 – Tyler Davis
Jordan Thomas will likely lead the tight end room for the Stallions. Last year, he finished with 187 catches and a touchdown. He’ll look to build on those statistics this year.

DC Defenders
The defending champions return the same coaching staff and a lot of the same players. Let’s look at the DC Defenders’ projected depth chart for the 2026 UFL season.
QB1 – Jordan Ta’amu
QB2 – Mike DeLiello
QB3 – Spencer Sanders
There’s no shock on this depth chart. Jordan Ta’amu has been the Defenders’ starter since the XFL relaunched and will continue to lead this team as their starting quarterback.
RB1 – Deon Jackson
RB2 – Abram Smith
RB3 – Xazavian Valladay
Both Deon Jackson and Abram Smith should be utilized. However, I think Deon Jackson will get the majority of the yards. Abram Smith, on the other hand, will be a short-yardage and goalline back. Jackson had a breakout year for the Defenders last year and will look to continue to find his success.
WR1 – Ty Scott
WR2 – Keke Coutee
WR3 – Braylon Sanders
WR4 – Cornell Powell
Ty Scott returns to the DC Defenders after spending 2024 and 2025 with them. In 2024, he recorded 25 receptions for 418 yards and three touchdowns. Last year, he spent most of the year injured. However, he made a big impact when he was available.
Behind him, Keke Coutee will look to make an impact in the UFL. He has 966 receiving yards and three touchdowns at the NFL level for the Texans and Colts. He even has a playoff touchdown from 2018. He’ll look to prove that he’s still got it.
Braylon Sanders had 13 receptions for 332 yards and three touchdowns in 2025. He is a big play guy who can make big plays, just like the 76-yard touchdown in Week 7 last year. Cornell Powell is also returning for another year after having 418 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns last year for the Defenders.
TE1 – Briley Moore-McKinney
Briley Moore-McKinney has been the starting tight end fo the Defenders for two years now, and he’ll look to continue as their TE1.
Dallas Renegades
No more Bob Stoops for the Dallas Renegades. However, they do have an experienced coach in Rick Neuheisel. Let’s take a look at the Renegades projected depth chart for the 2026 UFL season.
QB1 – Luis Perez
QB2 – Austin Reed
QB3 – Luke Lehnen
The Renegades will likely go with their long-time starter, Luis Perez. He’s been there since the beginning of time. Okay, maybe not that long. However, he has been the Renegades quarterback since he was traded to them from the Vegas Vipers. Perez may get the start, but I’m not sure Austin Reed should be kept on the bench.
RB1 – Dae Dae Hunter
RB2 – Lorenzo Lingard
RB3 – Ellis Merriweather
Dae Dae Hunter took over as the lead back last year. He ran the ball 113 times for 453 yards. I expect him to keep the top spot despite the fact that Lorenzo Lingard from the Gamblers joined.
WR1 – Tyler Vaughns
WR2 – Deontay Burnett
WR3 – Emmanuel Butler
WR4 – Greg Ward
Tyler Vaughns returns for his third year with the Renegades. In 2024, he had 45 catches for 502 yards and three touchdowns. Last year, it was 41 receptions for 475 yards and four touchdowns. It seems he’s good for at least 475 yards and a couple of touchdowns.
Deontay Burnett has also been with the Renegades for the past two years. In each of those, he had over 30 catches and 300 yards. He’ll look to keep his chemistry with Perez at the helm.
Former Houston Gambler Emmanuel Butler will look to keep growing his career. Greg Ward also joins the Renegades. He played for the Brahmas last year and will also look to keep expanding on his stats.
TE1 – Seth Green
Luis Perez doesn’t utilize many tight ends who are not named Sal Canella. Seth Green returns for another year with the Renegades and will likely get the TE1 position, even if it doesn’t come with a lot of stats.
Houston Gamblers
Kevin Sumlin will take over the Houston Gamblers, who used to be the Houston Roughnecks, who used to be the Houston Gamblers. Let’s take a look at his projected depth chart for the 2026 UFL season. This is the roster I feel least confident about.
QB1 – Nolan Henderson???
This one is honestly hard to gauge. 6-5 Donovan Smith looked like he had an early lead, but now rumors are that he may be on his way out the door. There’s also Nolan Henderson, the former Delaware Blue Hen. He played for the Roughnecks in 2024 and 2025. 2024 was better, when he played five games, threw for 531 yards, and threw two touchdowns. They also have Hunter Dekkers out of Iowa State. He is also just 24 and had some very impressive games for the Cyclones. The Gamblers may be making a move at quarterback, but there’s been no official word yet.
RB1 – Kirk Merritt
RB2 – Marcus Yarns
RB3 – Marcus Roby
Kirk Merritt and Marcus Yarns will likely split reps to start the season. Merritt has experience with the Houston Roughnecks in the past couple of years. In each of them, he wasn’t given the opportunity to have the bulk of the carries. Perhaps this is the year. Keep an eye out for Jalen White, if he’s on the team. He was cut back on the sixth of March, added back on the eighth, but has yet to show up on their roster. Sometimes, guys can’t make the spring game work in their schedule, or they hold out for another opportunity. It’s possible he hasn’t reported. However, if he is, the former Georgia Southern running back could push for playing time.
WR1 – Jontre Kirklin
WR2- Justin Hall
WR3 – Lujuan Winningham
WR4 – Kai Locksley
Jontre Kirklin should be ready to bounce back as a top-tier wide receiver in the UFL. Last year, he took a slight step back in production, only having 35 catches for 284 yards. However, in 2024, he had 56 catches for 614 yards and three touchdowns. Look for him to keep up his production.
Justin Hall has quietly had two good seasons in a row for the Roughnecks, now Gamblers. In 2024, he had 56 catches for 603 yards and three touchdowns. He followed that up in 2025 with 62 receptions for 501 yards and three touchdowns. No matter who the quarterback is, he should be targeted often.
Behind those two, Lujuan Winningham and Kai Locksley will compete for WR3 and WR4. Both have experience in the UFL.
TE1 – Cam Sutton
TE2 – Geor’quarius Spivey
TE3 – Armani Rogers
None of these tight ends has been able to put up big stats in the UFL. However, that’s not for lack of talent. They’ll all compete for the top tight end position, though I think Cam Sutton ends up getting it.
Columbus Aviators
One of the new teams in the UFL this year, the Columbus Aviators are being coached by first-time coach Ted Ginn Jr. He’s an Ohio legend and will look to start the Aviators’ first year off the right way. Let’s take a look at their projected depth chart for the 2026 UFL season.
QB1 – Jalan McClendon
QB2 – Jalen Morton
QB3 – Aidan Sayin
Jalan McClendon is entering his third season in the UFL and on his third team. In 2024, he played five games for the Defenders. He only threw the ball 21 times, however. It was in 2025 that he really started to get some momentum. Out of 225 passes, he only threw three interceptions. Meanwhile, he threw 1464 passing yards and ran for 107. McClendon has a big arm. He’s a gun-slinger and should win the starting quarterback job.
RB1 – Toa Taua
RB2 – John Lovett
RB3 – Zaquandre White
The Aviators have a fairly loaded running back room. Toa Taua broke out last year for the Michigan Panthers when he finally started getting more carries. In seven games, he finished with 365 yards, six touchdowns, and had a 4.4 yards per carry.
He’ll have to keep running hard to hold off John Lovett. Lovett was injured for the bulk of last year. However, in 2024 for the Brahmas, he had 103 carries for 444 yards and five touchdowns. Zaquandre White will also provide plenty of competition. Last year for the Roughnecks, he had 336 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
WR1 – Keke Chism
WR2 – Jaylon Moore
WR3 – Devin Ross
WR4 – Rashard Davis
There are a lot of questions about this Aviator offense at wide receiver. It’s not about lack of talent. They have a talented group. I’m just not positive how it’s going to play out. My best guess is that Keke Chism will become the top wide receiver. He’s spent the last two years with the Houston Roughnecks. In the last two years, he’s compiled 653 receiving yards. Now he’ll get his chance to win the top spot on the roster.
Jaylon Moore played for the Michigan Panthers last year. He finished the season with just 18 catches, but 215 yards. Averaging 11.9 yards per catch is a good way to get noticed. He’ll look to continue to be a big-play guy.
Devin Ross also played for the Panthers last year. He only had 91 yards. However, he’s an experienced receiver who will compete for the Aviators, along with Rashard Davis.
TE1 – Gunnar Oakes
TE2 – Alize Mack
TE3 – Cam McDonald
Gunnar Oakes and Alize Mack may be the best tight end combo in the league. Oakes played for the Panthers last year and amassed 162 yards. Not a bad stat line for a tight end in the UFL. We haven’t seen many tight ends break out, minus Jace Sternberger and Sal Canella.
Aliza Mack was on the Brahmas for the past two years. He only had 28 yards last year, but has three touchdowns over the last two seasons. I expect these two to be the TE1 and TE2 for the Aviators. Cam McDonald will also push to get some playing time.
Louisville Kings
The Louisville Kings will be coached by Chris Redman. The former NFL quarterback will look to take this projected depth chart and start winning immediately in their first UFL season.
QB1 – Jason Bean
QB2 – Chandler Rogers
QB3 – N’Kosi Perry
There’s a lot of hype with Jason Bean. I heard it last year when he was supposed to join the Showboats, but didn’t show. I’m hearing it again. Honestly, I’m putting him here because I think he’ll be given the first start. I am not so confident he’ll keep it. Bean had an up-and-down career at Kansas and will look to prove himself at the professional level.
Chandler Rogers is another young guy who most recently played college ball for California. However, he only started one game for California. The year prior to that, he played for North Texas. In 10 games, he threw for 3,382 yards and 29 touchdowns to only five interceptions. He finished with a 150.1 passer rating. Early clips of him in practice have looked good. He’s a mobile quarterback with a big arm.
Also competing for some playing time will be N’Kosi Perry. Perry has been a little bit of everywhere since his 2022 season at Florida Atlantic. He spent a short time with the Hamilton Ti-Cats in 2023. He was with the Seattle Sea Dragons prior to their team going away during the merger. He’s also played indoor football for the Jacksonville Sharks and played for the Raiders Tirol in the ELF league.
RB1 – Benny Snell
RB2 – Ian Wheeler
RB3 – Jalen Jackson
RB4 – Jaden Shirden
I thought for sure James Robinson would lead this group. However, he’s no longer on the team. Therefore, I think former Pittsburgh Steeler Benny Snell will take the lead job. He was with the Steelers for four years. In 2019, he ran the ball 108 times for 426 yards. NFL in-game reps go a long way.
He’ll need to hold off former Chicago Bear Ian Wheeler. He’s a hard runner who played well in preseason games for the Bears. In a preseason game against the Bills in 2025, Wheeler had 80 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Behind them, Jalen Jackson and Jaden Shirden will compete for reps.
WR1 – Jonathan Adams
WR2 – Isaiah Winstead
WR3 – JaVonta Payton
WR4 – Lucky Jackson
Jonathan Adams had some big moments back when he played for the Breakers. He spent hte last two years on the Memphis Showboats and finished with exactly 443 yards in both of them. He’ll look to lead his new team in all receiving stats.
Isaiah Winstead will also be a force and push for the top wide receiver spot. The former Renegade finished with 307 yards last year. He and JaVonta Payton may take turns on who has the bigger games. Payton was also a Renegade last year, when he finished with 230 yards and a touchdown. This was a step back from his 2024 season when he had 379 yards and five touchdowns. H’ell look to get back to that production.
TE1 – Jalen Wydermyer
TE2 – Tre’ McKitty
TE3 – Zach Davidson
Jalen Wydermyer had a couple of breakout moments for the Panthers when he was able to get playing time. Now he should get more opportunities to succeed and breakout.
Orlando Storm
Anthony Becht moves from his coaching spot with the St. Louis Battlehawks to lead the Orlando Storm. He’s been a successful coach in the UFL regular season and should continue to have success with this projected depth chart that’s loaded with talent.
QB1 – Dorian Thompson-Robinson
QB2 – Hank Bachmeier
QB3 – Jack Plummer
The Storm will likely be led by former NFL quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson. He’ll play with a chip on his shoulder and be hungry to prove himself. He started five games in the NFL over the span of two years. Each year, he finished with 440 passing yards. In 2024, he ran for 122. Becht was able to utilize the dual-threat Manny Wilkins very well prior to Wilkins’ injury. Expect him to do the same with DTR.
RB1 – Jashuan Corbin
RB2 – Tre Stewart
RB3 – Elijah Dotson
This will be Jashuan Corbin’s backfield. Last year’s leading rusher, the former San Antonio Brahma, had 522 rushing yards last year and a 5.3 yards per carry average. He also had four touchdowns. Becht showed he was fine leaning on a running back like Jarveon Howard last year. He’ll do the same thing with Corbin this year.
WR1 – Chris Rowland
WR2 – KJ Hamler
Chris Rowland should be the top receiver for this Storm team. Last year for DC, he finished with 42 catches, 522 yards, and three receiving touchdowns. He also had 87 yards in the postseason. He’s a big play guy who’s averaged 12.75 yards per catch over the last two years.
He’ll complement KJ Hamler, a former NFL wide receiver. The former 46th-overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, he should have a big chip on his shoulder and have a lot he wants to prove. This will fuel his game with DTR, and he’ll become a top target.
The rest of the depth chart will be filled in with guys like Aron Cruikshank, Cam Camper, Elijah Bader, and more.
TE1 – Steven Stilianos
TE2 – Konner Fox
TE3 – Shawn Bowman
Steven Stilianos should have the first shot at taking the top reps at tight end. The former Iowa Hawkeye, aka Tight End U, played for the Brahmhas last year. However, he only had 15 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown. He’ll look to put up more stats this year as the Storm’s TE1.
