  • Orlando Holds on to Beat Columbus 23-16
    In their home opener, the Orlando Storm debuted on the UFL stage with a 23-16 win over the visiting Columbus Aviators. The Storm got out to a big lead in the third quarter, but their offense stagnated in the fourth quarter as the Aviators’ offense got rolling, but Orlando was able to hold on for the win.     The Dallas Renegades and spring football newbie Austin Reed put on an electric display against the Houston Gamblers and won 36-17 to open the 2026 UFL season. Reed and the Renegades put on an aerial clinic and put the entire UFL on notice that they are going to need to be taken seriously this season. After a tight first quarter, Dallas blew the game wide open with a 17-point explosion in the second quarter and never let the Gamblers back in the game.
